Who does not know Bala, the well-known director of South and Tollywood film industries in today's time. He always makes headlines due to his films. Director Bala, who last played 'Nachiyar' with GV Prakash and Jyothika  did not do any film in some time. Now, as per an online portal report, director Bala is planning to direct a film with Arya and Atharva. And that's not all, it is also being said that the director is planning to play a role in the film along with actor Surya. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin in March, as the film is expected to be released in December this year.

According to media reports, earlier, director Surya played the lead roles in director Bala's 'Nanda' and 'Pithamagan'. He also did a cameo in Bala's directorial 'Ivan Avan Ivan' in which Arya and Vishal played the lead roles. Talking about his next, it is believed that Bala will follow the current trend in Tamil cinema and plot his next story with a village backdrop.

Director Bala is currently producing a Tamil remake of the Malayalam film 'Joseph'. The film has RK Suresh in the lead role, while the music of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
