Guna: Rain has created havoc in the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. The rains have flooded here and the situation has worsened. At least 145 people trapped in their homes overnight were rescued due to a flood in the river in a village here. The matter has been reported by the authorities. Officials said last Saturday that areas along the Parvati river were affected due to floods.

 

 

As per the information received, the Madhya Pradesh government sent a helicopter and boats to rescue the people of Sunda village in the Guna district of the state. The rescued persons were taken to Chabra village in the Baran district of Rajasthan. On the other hand, Baran Superintendent of Police Vineet Bansal says, "About 145 people from Sunda village were trapped in the floodwaters of the river since Friday night.''

 

 

The District Collector and Superintendent of Police of Guna also reached Chabra last Friday night and remained there for rescue operations. Meanwhile, rescue operations were launched with the help of the National Disaster Response Force and State Disaster Relief Force. Let me tell you that the rescue operation started at 8 am and lasted for about seven hours and people were rescued with the help of helicopters and boats.
