Mumbai: MP Anupriya Patel has openly protested against the web series Mirzapur 2. Anupriya Patel, MP and former Union Minister from Mirzapur Lok Sabha constituency said that efforts have been made to tarnish the image of the district through web series. They have inquired and demanded action. Now, on this demand of Anupriya, she has got the support of comedian Raju Srivastava.
Anupriya Patel, MP from Mirzapur, said, "The development is continuing in Mirzapur under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath. It is the center of harmony. It is being maligned as a violent area through a web series called Mirzapur. Ethnic disharmony is also being spread through this series. I demand that it be examined and action taken," he said.
Supporting Lok Sabha MP Anupriya Patel's statement, comedian Raju Srivastava said that while the producers have the freedom to make films, web series according to their views, but there is no loss of any community, city, class, particular place or place, it should also be taken care of. I ask the government for censorship.
