Bhopal: The Shivraj government is going to present the budget on March 2 in the session of the assembly starting from 22 February. According to the information received, it is being said about a glimpse of self-sufficient Madhya Pradesh. Yes, the government is ready to make a provision in the budget with a target of three years. It is being told that between five and six thousand crore rupees can be given to the Public Health Engineering Department for providing drinking water from door to door in rural areas. Apart from this, to provide support to farmers, a provision of more than three thousand crore rupees is proposed to be made for Samman Nidhi under Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.

It is being said that the draft of the budget estimate for the year 2021-22 can be done today i.e. on Tuesday in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Simultaneously, the Governor's address to the Legislative Assembly is also being forwarded for approval. According to sources, the budget to be presented in the Assembly, the first supplementary estimate of the current financial year, the Finance Bill, and the State Backward Classes Commission Amendment Bill can be discussed. The Chief Minister has been taking meetings continuously for a long time.

On Monday, he also held a meeting with senior officials to prepare for the budget. There are reports that special attention will be given to agriculture, horticulture, employment, infrastructure development in the budget. Apart from this, if the scheme to provide loans to farmers at zero percent interest rate will be continued, the targets of other schemes will be increased. It is being said that the government can increase its contribution from 10 to 14 percent in the contributory pension scheme. Apart from this, the sources also say that a detailed description of the steps taken by the government during the coronation will be given. In the meeting, a decision on the proposal of Rs 7.58 crore made in the auction of the booking office asset of the Road Transport Corporation of Binaganj can be decided.
