Bhopal: A cabinet meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal today on Tuesday, October 5. As part of the information received, a number of important issues are to be discussed in the meeting. At the same time, many proposals may also get the green signal. In fact, the meeting will discuss providing relief to the flood victims and approve assistance of Rs.6,000 each for the construction of damaged houses. At the same time, it is also being said that the proposal to lease 0.20 hectares of land for 30 years for the BJP office in Umaria can be approved. Apart from this, the proposal to give twice the land to the farmers in lieu of the land acquired for the Chambal Expressway may be approved. Let us tell you that this meeting is considered to be the most important before the Madhya Pradesh by-election.

These proposals will come up in the Cabinet meeting:-

*Proposal for acquisition of land under Government Swap Policy for Chambal Expressway. As per the proposal of PWD, the Chambal expressway is 404 km long. Not long ago, the Modi government at the Centre approved the Shivraj government's ambitious project and included 312 kilometres of it in the first phase of the Bharatmala project, which will pass through Sheopur, Morena and Bhind districts.

6,000/- per house for houses completely or partially damaged due to heavy rains and floods in Gwalior-Chambal division and Vidisha district. The financial burden on the Government is expected to be around Rs 4 crore. A nationally recognized political party can be given a plot in the district. It is also being said that the plot will be allotted at a fee as per the prescribed provision as per the collector's guidelines for the financial year 2021-22.
