MP CM Shivraj Chouhan interacts with children at anganwadi centre in Bhopal

BHOPAL: Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, visited an anganwadi centre here on Thursday as part of the "Adopt an Anganwadi" programme and interacted with youngsters. According to an official, the chief minister paid a visit to the Smart City project's Sunehri Bagh centre in North TT Nagar.

Chouhan sat on the floor among the children and chatted with them, he added, asking them about their daily routines and food preferences.

On the occasion, the chief minister handed out toffees and pencils and engaged with beneficiaries of the state government's Laadli Laxmi Scheme.

Senior authorities attended the event, including Bhopal collector Avinash Lavania and municipal commissioner KVS Choudhary.
