Bhopal: Today is the death anniversary of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the author of the national song 'Vande Mataram.' Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay passed away on this day (April 8, 1894). Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra have paid homage to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay on his death anniversary. Recently, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted, "I pay homage to the great poet, litterateur Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the author of the national song Vande Mataram, on his death anniversary. Chattopadhyay Ji is immortal through great works like Anandmath, Kapal Kundli, Mrinalini.''

 

 

At the same time, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the author of the national song 'Vande Mataram' and a freedom fighter who inspired crores of revolutionaries with his writings, was also at the residence. Pays floral tributes to Bankim Chandra Chatterjee on his death anniversary. Apart from him, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has also tweeted and written: "Salutation Sadar and humble tribute to Shri Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, author of the national song 'Vande Mataram,' is an announcement of the soul of the country. Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the author of the national song Vande Mataram, was born on June 27, 1838, in Naihati, West Bengal. He will continue to be remembered for ages for his literary works.

You must be aware that Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay's most famous novel 'Anandmath' was published in 1882, which has been written by the famous song 'Vande Mataram', the novels written by him include Durgeshnandini, Anandmath, Kapalkundala, Mrinalini, Raj Singh, Vishvriksha, Krishnakanta's testament, Sitaram, Radharani, Rajni, and Indira.
