Today Congress called for a half-day shutdown in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Congress has called for a half-day bandh in the state today or 20 February. This is being done against rising fuel prices. Indeed, the Congress Party has urged the people to cooperate and make the half-day bandh a success. On Friday, Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath shared a video message. By sharing this, he had said that people are in crisis due to skyrocketing prices of diesel, petrol, and LPG. The government is only busy raising revenue.

At the same time, he also said, 'Congress has called for a half-day bandh on 20 February. I appeal to people to join the effort to awaken the government. Everybody should be a part of it.' Apart from this, State Congress spokesman Bhupendra Gupta also said, 'The party will take out a rally on Saturday and will request people to close their shops.' He further added that 'Milk booths, medical stores, and hospitals will remain open during Bharat Bandh.'

Amidst all this, Nakul Sharma, secretary of Madhya Pradesh Petrol Pump Owners Association, says, 'The price of additive-mixed petrol of a major oil marketing company is now Rs 101.85 per liter, while regular petrol in Bhopal is Rs 98.18 and diesel is Rs 88.82.'
