Gwalior: A shocking case has come to light from Gwalior which has left not only the common man but also the police in a tizzy. In fact, when the police went to a closed factory for the raid, a secret route was revealed from where the illegal liquor racket was being run. Yes, according to the information received, the factory was doing business by hiding liquor by constructing a tunnel-like basement inside a cupboard. As soon as the police came to know about it, the police arrived and entered the factory and opened the door of the cupboard from where the tunnel-like basement had departed.
Illegal English and desi liquor have been recovered from it. Police have reportedly arrested two accused and initiated action. Let me tell all of you that illegal liquor was being traded in a closed factory at Baraghata in the Jhansi Road police station area, and it was being run by the accused Mahesh Gupta. Police say they raided the factory as soon as they came to know about his whereabouts. In fact, the police had received input that the drug dealer had built a room in the factory with a cupboard on its wall, with a basement-like tunnel inside it.
As soon as the police reached here and opened the cupboard gate, the eyes of the police were wide open. Police noticed that there was a room inside the cupboard with 147 boxes of English liquor and 4 desi thongs of liquor. 10 lakhs in total. Police have since nabbed Jitu Baghel and Vijay Pratap Baghel resident Firozabad who were involved in the business. Police have registered a case under the Excise Act against six accused Jitu Baghel, Vijay Baghel, Mahesh Gupta, Anu Sen, Pramod Chaurasia and another in the case and launched a hunt for the absconding accused.
