Bhopal: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday said that cow urine, as well as its dung, can strengthen the economy and make the country economically feasible. The CM said this while launching the Women Veterinary Practitioners Conclave-Shakti 2021 organized by the Indian Veterinary Association.
"We are constantly trying to create awareness for better use of animal products in the state. Apart from milk, cow-buffalo dung, cow urine, etc. We can strengthen our economy with these activities and make the country economically prosperous."
The CM further said, "Efforts are being made at the crematoriums in MP to minimize the burning of wood. Increased use of dung made from cows. This is also making the cow-shed self-reliant. Work is also underway to procure dung and make manure and other items.'' The CM said animal doctors and experts should do a useful job on how cow rearing should become a beneficial business for small farmers and cattle herders.
