Bhopal: The post Monsoon rain has once again arrived in Madhya Pradesh. Last Sunday night, rain-lashed several districts besides Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior and all the areas were inundated. Talking about Sagar and Guna, there was a light drizzle in these districts. Khandwa has been receiving light rain since Monday morning. At the same time, one youth was killed in a field when lightning struck Bisonia village of Beawara in Rajgarh while another youth suffered severe burns. The first post-monsoon rains in the state are said to have inundated several areas in the last 24 hours. Burhanpur received the highest rainfall during this period.

It has actually rained three inches. The Met department has said that thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in 10 districts including Bhopal and Indore during the next 24 hours. With this, heavy rain alert has been sounded in 13 districts including Sheopur. Let me tell you that the weather scientist says that a new system has been created in the Bay of Bengal and it is raining because of this. At present, due to cloudy conditions, the night mercury has climbed to 5 degrees Celsius above normal and the situation is going to last for the next two to three days. As per the information received, a heavy rain alert has been sounded in 13 districts in the next 24 hours.

The list includes Umaria, Mandla, Balaghat, Sivani, Dindori, Sheopurkalan, Shivpuri, Betul, Burhanpur, Rajgarh and Guna districts. It is likely to rain heavily at some places here. At the same time, thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Jabalpur, Shahdol, Rewa, Sagar, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Rain may also occur at isolated places in Rewa, Sagar and Jabalpur.
