MP State govt starts water adventure tourism in Bhopal

With an aim to boost water adventure tourism in the state,  Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC )is going to give a thrill of scuba diving to state adventure lovers. In the first phase, scuba diving is commencing in Sailani and Hanumantiya.

Scuba diving trial was taken by MP Tourism MD S Vishwanathan at Upper Lake. After the trial, he said that he will start it for adventure in Bhopal too. Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director S Vishwanathan informed that Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in non-maritime areas where scuba diving facilities will be provided to tourists.

Till now, the water adventure lovers of Madhya Pradesh had to go to Goa, Port Blair, Mauritius and Bangkok to fulfill this hobby, but now due to this facility being available in the state, not only Madhya Pradesh but also Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh of central India and many nearby states will be able to enjoy scuba diving after successful trials in Bhopal.

Now, soon after the preparations for the safety and precautions related to scuba diving is completed, it will be available to tourists visiting Hanumantiya. Scuba diving is a mode of underwater diving in which a scuba diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) which is completely independent of the surface supply for breathing underwater. Scuba diving is one such adventure underwater, in which scuba divers go underwater with oxygen source and equipment to breathe underwater, so that they can stay in the river, reservoir or sea for longer duration and can also see underwater scenes.
