SEONI- MADHYA PRADESH:Tigress T4, also known as Patdev, has given birth to four more cubs in Madhya Pradesh's Pench Tiger Reserve, bringing the total number of her kids to 20. Patdev is the child of "Collarwali," a supermom who had 29 cubs total.

Tiger T4 and her four cubs were observed by several officials and guests on a safari on Monday, said Rajneesh Singh, deputy director of Pench Tiger Reserve.  He said this was the first time tigress T4 and her kids, who appeared to be about two months old, had been seen together.

The tigress has so far given birth to 20 cubs in five litters since 2014. Singh said that tigress Collarwali, who had 29 cubs in eight litters between 2008 and 2018, gave birth to T4 in 2010. Collarwali passed away in June of last year at the age of 17.

Twelve-year-old Tigress T4 gave birth to four cubs for the first time in 2014, however two of them eventually dead. In the 2018 tiger census, Madhya Pradesh came out on top after it was discovered that state was home to 526 cats, two more than Karnataka (524). Third place was claimed by Uttarakhand with 442 large cats. According to the most recent census report, the estimated number of tigers in India climbed from 1,411 in 2006 to 2,967 in 2018.

Tiger reserves may be found in Madhya Pradesh in places like Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Satpura, Panna, and Sanjay Dubri.
