Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has recently made a big announcement. In fact, recently, he said, "From 1st November, rations will be delivered to every household in 89 tribal blocks.'' He said tribal tribes need not leave their work and come to grain shops. Their vehicles will be used for this purpose and rations will be delivered to every household. At the same time, he added, "When Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister, the Ministry for the Tribal Community was formed for the first time.''

Let me tell all of you that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the gathering at the Gaurav Diwas function in honour of tribal leaders who participated in the freedom struggle in Jabalpur yesterday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "Work for tribal development is being done only by the BJP government. When Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister, the Ministry was formed for the first time for the tribal community.''

At the same time, the Chief Minister also said, "The scholarship scarcity given to tribal community students during the Congress government was Rs.200-300 per month which has later increased to Rs.12000-1300 during the BJP government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to restore his lost identity to the tribal community and it is our duty to fulfil their dreams.''

He also said, "High-interest rates exploit the brothers and sisters of backward tribes and therefore, by enacting effective laws, they have also fixed interest rates for moneylenders in tribal areas. Now, those who charge interest beyond the prescribed rates will be punished.'' Let me tell all of you that at the function, Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Congress of not welfare of tribals. "The Congress talked about tribal welfare to take their votes and shared their sentiments," he said in the address. The BJP is committed to the development of tribals.
