Bhopal: The rains have stopped in Madhya Pradesh now, while the cold wave continues. Although it is not feeling much cold during the day, but the effect of cold is more visible in the morning and evening. During the night, the temperature is going below 8 degrees, due to which people start shivering. The Meteorological Department says that the cold will remain.

Whereas Pachmarhi remained the coldest in the last 24 hours. Apart from Pachmarhi, the temperature went below 10 degrees in many districts including the capital Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Gwalior. The Meteorological Department told that due to the snowfall in the mountains, the wind is coming straight towards Madhya Pradesh. The humidity in the atmosphere had also reduced. There is no strong wind blowing in the afternoon. That's why the sky remained completely clear and the sunlight increased a bit. The temperature will remain like this for the next few days.

The temperature reached around 2 degrees last night in Pamcharhi. Apart from this, the temperature in Naugaon also remained around 5 degrees. At the same time, in many districts including Bhopal, Betul, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Rewa, and Sagar, the temperature remained up to 10 degrees. Due to this, the effect of cold is being seen more here. However, there is no chance of rain in the state now. According to the Meteorological Department, due to snowfall in the mountains, icy winds are coming fast in Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, there is a continuous drop in night and day temperatures. The effect of cold is increasing only as the temperature drops. The Meteorological Department told that the first week of February will pass in this way. That means the cold weather will continue in Madhya Pradesh.
