Bhopal: India Meteorological has issued an orange alert for Madhya Pradesh for the fourth consecutive day. In fact, the MET department in a recent alert has said that 13 districts of the state are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. Recently, PK Saha, Senior Meteorologist, Bhopal Centre, IMD said, "Orange alert has been issued for these districts for the next four days which includes Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Rajgarh, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Mandsaur, and Tikamgarh. Heavy to very heavy rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at different places in these districts. Also, inform all of you that an orange alert has been issued for rain for the fourth consecutive day in Madhya Pradesh since Friday.

The department has predicted that rain may subside on Tuesday as the low-pressure area over northwest Madhya Pradesh has weakened. PK Saha says cyclonic circulation over north-west Madhya Pradesh is still continuing as the east-west trough line is running with 25 degrees north latitude. At the same time, he has also said, "Rain activity may be limited to the northwest part of MP.''
