More than 30 people fell in the Lal Patthar village due to a crowd of people who rushed to rescue the child after he fell into the well. A team of NDRF, SDRF, and local administration then reached and launched a rescue operation.
About 19 people have been evacuated so far. Several people are still missing, while 4 have died and their bodies have been recovered. Let me tell all of you that immediately after the incident, state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had dispatched NDRF, SDRF teams from Bhopal to the spot for rescue operations and also asked all senior officials to expedite relief and rescue operations.
