The Madhya Pradesh Board for Secondary Education (MPBSE) on Monday announced the results of Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on May 14.

Earlier CM has promised the students that, according to the Chief Minister Meritorious Scheme, the state government will pay the fees of students who score more than 75% in class 12. Also, the state’s school education department had launched a multi-pronged programme to reduce pre and post result stress of students, states Hindustan Times.

According to Hindustan Times, the MP Board will declare the result of class 10 according to the favourite five policy. The passing marks of class 10 students have been calculated on the basis of best percentage scored in the five subjects out of six. If a student failed in one subject, he/she will still be promoted to the next class on the basis of the marks scored in five subjects.

Meanwhile, nearly 19,00,000 students opted for the exam this year, including 700,000 Class 12 candidates and 11,00,000 Class 10 examinees. Last year, the pass percentage of Class 10 was 49.9 (51.46 for girls and 48.5 for boys) and that of Class 12 was 67.8 -72.3% girls and 64.1% for boys.
