What are the company's future plans?

Our primary plans are focused on growth and development in several directions. One of them is the geographic expanse. PMI operates in Asia, Africa, and LATAM, and we plan on entering and growing in the new emerging markets of these regions. In every new market, we tailor our product to the regional characteristics of each country of presence to reach maximum contact with local audiences and consequently get the best business results.

Another key area is further building a strong recognizable brand for both PMI and the product in each region of presence. And for that of course we will need to expand our team further with the world's best specialists.

What are your future collaboration plans considering other sports franchise leagues?

We constantly consider various proposals for cooperation with athletes, teams, and leagues in all sports. The decisive factor is the impact that every potential partnership can bring to the world, to the people. As soon as we find the right combination and synergy, we start cooperation.

Please share your thoughts on the future of online betting in India.

The sphere of online betting is very promising and its potential will definitely keep growing exponentially. Our judgements are based on the following data analytics and statistics, along with an increasing demand for online betting. As of 2018, the online gaming industry’s revenue was 44 billion INR. The market is forecasted to show considerable growth to approximately 120 billion INR by 2023.

There are certain reasons and preconditions for it. Firstly, the very high interest of the Indian nation in betting as online entertainment. Secondly, new technological advancements in mobile technologies (smartphones and tablets) and wide access to the high-speed Internet make betting a more attractive and preferable activity among technologically literate Indians (because of affordable smartphones, the Indian mobile gaming market shows steady growth from 266 million USD in 2016 to 405 million USD in 2022.). Thirdly, betting and entertainment have become more popular because of the iGaming industry's development, where gamers get top-quality products and an incredible experience while betting. As the quality of services improves and the number of gamblers grows, the demand of Indian society for online sports betting, casino games, cricket, and poker for relaxation, fun, and entertainment will remain high. Such betting platforms as Parimatch, offering top-notch services, will become more attractive to the Indian nation, with its 750 million people online in search of betting as a pastime, hobby, and relaxation when trying out their luck.

The future of Indian online betting depends greatly on the relevant regulations and licensing. Legalization is a great foundation for betting promotion. Based on the forecasts, the Indian online gambling industry has very attractive growth prospects. Its value will grow from 930 million USD to over 112 billion USD in 2025. According to the forecasts, the global gambling market could be worth 647.9 billion USD by 2027.

Share a brief about other marketing initiatives that you are looking forward in the next 1-2 years in India

When it comes to the Indian audience globally, we want to increase our brand awareness and become the top-of-mind brand when it comes to cricket betting online. For this goal, we use a wide range of communication channels: sponsorships, TV broadcasts, partnerships with sports and media websites, as well as working with brand ambassadors globally. As I’ve mentioned already, we are looking to help to develop the sports in the Asian region, India included, to help our brand build the right associations and connections with the audience.
