Rohit Sharma will going to take over the captaincy from Virat Kohli as Team India was seen sweating hard on the nets ahead of the 1st ODI against Sri Lanka at HPCA Stadium in Dharmashala. After beating the visitors in the Test series by 1-0, the Men in Blue is eyeing to clinch the last 50-over series before the year ends. Meanwhile, a new pacer was spotted in the Indian camp bowling some lethal deliveries during the practice session on Saturday. He was none other than the former India captain MS Dhoni.

We have watched him bowling on several occasions, but this time, he helped out the batsmen with their batting practice. The BCCI has posted a video on their Twitter handle where the wicket-keeper batsman could be seen bowling some top-class seam-up deliveries to all-rounder Axar Patel. Sir Lanka will be playing the ODI and the T20I series under captaincy of new captain all-rounder himself Thisara Perera, who has taken over from opener Upul Tharanga. However, Dhananjaya de Silva, who has hit a match saving century in Delhi Test, has been ruled out of the series opener due to an injury.
