Lucknow: Mukhtar Ansari, an MLA of Uttar Pradesh is not able to sleep peacefully in  Banda's jail. Since Mukhtar Ansari has been shifted from Punjab to Banda's prison, he has lost sleep. He has not been able to sleep properly for several nights in jail. One is that the heat of UP and the mosquitoes in the prison. After spending a few years in Punjab jail, Mukhtar Ansari is now troubled by mosquitoes in Banda's jail.

Significantly, three-four days ago, Mukhtar Ansari has been shifted from Jail in Punjab to Banda Jail in UP. According to media reports, the heat has also troubled Mukhtar, who spent two three nights in Banda jail after returning from Punjab. The temperature in Uttar Pradesh is 10 degrees higher than in Punjab. This is why Mukhtar Ansari, imprisoned in a Punjab jail since 2019, is not able to sleep in UP.

Let us tell you that in the early hours of Wednesday, Mukhtar Ansari was brought to Banda Jail from Punjab via road in an ambulance. Mukhtar Ansari was accompanied by a large convoy of police forces, who went from UP to Punjab to bring Mukhtar. The police traveled around 900 km and Mukhtar Ansari was brought to Banda jail after 16 hours of travel. In this journey, the police had also changed the route three times.
