Mukhtar has feared his murder during the virtual appearance in the MP MLA Special Court. Mukhtar said that he can also be killed by poisoning the food. Because the government is also 'angry.' He also gave a letter in the court regarding the convenience of the higher class.

According to Mukhtar Ansari's lawyer Randhir Singh Suman, Mukhtar Ansari made this request to Barabanki Special Sessions Judge Kamalkant Srivastava during a hearing held through video-conferencing. Mukhtar said, 'The state government is angry with me. In such a situation, I may be poisoned in food.' He further said that if he gets a higher rank in the jail, then the fear will vanish from his mind. Mafia Mukhtar Ansari's lawyer argued in the court that his client is a high-class prisoner, but the state government and the district magistrate are not giving high-class facilities to Mukhtar Ansari in the jail.

So he requested the court to use his powers to grant this facility to Ansari. Mukhtar's lawyer told that under the jail manual, an application was made to provide a higher class. He said that October 7 has been fixed as the next date of hearing in the matter of giving high-class security to Mukhtar. The lawyer told that the judge has said that he will make a decision in this matter soon.
