Lucknow: Sadhna Gupta, the second wife of former Uttar Pradesh CM and Founder and Patron of Samajwadi Party (SP) Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away on Saturday. It is being told that Sadhna Gupta had been ill for the past few days and was recently admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. Considering Sadhna's critical condition, she was kept in the ICU, her condition had remained quite serious since Saturday morning when she breathed her last in the afternoon.  

However, her death has not yet been officially confirmed by the Medanta Hospital. A while ago, Mulayam Singh Yadav met his wife and walked out of the hospital. She had been suffering from many other diseases including sugar for the past one week. The body of Mulayam Singh's wife Sadhna Gupta will be taken first to Delhi and then to Saifai. Let me tell you that Mulayam Singh Yadav is still in Delhi, and Akhilesh has also left for the capital from Lucknow.

Sadhna Gupta is the second wife of former CM Mulayam Singh Yadav and is the stepmother of SP chief Akhilesh. Sadhna's own son's name is Prateek Yadav and her daughter-in-law is Aparna Yadav. Aparna Yadav, famous for her outspoken statement, is a leader of the BJP. Aparna Yadav left the SP and joined the BJP even before the 2022 UP assembly elections.
