New Delhi: The Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, which carried out the 26/11 Mumbai attack, hatched a conspiracy to make it a form of 'Hindu terrorism'. Following the claim by then Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, Congress leader Digvijay Singh has said that he will file a defamation case against GVL Narasimha Rao and Amit Malviya. Public prosecutor of Mumbai attack case Ujjwal Nikam has also confirmed the claims of Rakesh Maria.

In Maria's book 'Let Me Say It Now', BJP leaders called Digvijay Singh an agent of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI after revelations of a Hindu terror plot. Digvijay Singh said that if he is an agent of ISI, why has he not been arrested so far? He further said, "If this is the case then PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are totally incompetent as they have not been able to arrest them".

Ujjwal Nikam, a famous lawyer who played the role of a government lawyer in the 26 November 2008 attack, has also supported the claims of former Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria. He also said that Hindu names were recorded in the IDs captured by the attackers. He said, 'It is true that Hindu names were written in IDs. Kasab's statement in Mumbai court proved that 10 convicts had 10 fake IDs. We proved it before the court.
