Mumbai has not reported a single case after 35 months, claims BMC

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has claimed that for the first time since March 2020, there is not a single case of corona in the country's financial capital. Mumbai, one of the most affected cities in the country, has received this pleasant report after nearly 35 months. In March 2020, the lockdown was announced for the first time in the entire country.  

During the multiple waves of Covid, Mumbai had a widespread impact of the pandemic. However, BMC had taken comprehensive measures to prevent Corona, which was also praised by the central government. BMC's efforts against Corona were also named the 'Mumbai Model'.

The efforts of BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal were also highly appreciated. Iqbal Singh Chahal had also written a book about the efforts against Covid-19. The name of this book is Covid Warrior.

The report says that in this book Chahal had told extensively how the prevention of corona endeavored in Mumbai. Many big film stars had appealed to read this book, in which the names of Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan have also been added.
