Mumbai: BMC allows opening of all playgrounds, gardens, seafronts; know details here

Mumbai: The scourge of corona infection in Maharashtra is now receding. In such a situation, decisions related to unlocking are being taken continuously here. Now, in the same vein, BMC has decided to open all grounds, gardens, and sea phases, Sea Front, and beach in Mumbai under the Break The Chain Campaign last Monday. In fact, permission has now been issued to visit all these places from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Let me tell you that earlier on 11th August, it was decided to open restaurants and shops by 10 pm.

Now shops in Maharashtra can also remain open till 10 pm, with gyms, yoga centers, salons, parlors, and spas with 50% capacity at 10 pm daily. It has been allowed to operate by 00 o'clock. It has also been said that if the premises are air-conditioned, the fan needs to be turned on and the windows and doors have to be kept open. Let me tell all of you that the new Corona Protocol has come into force in Maharashtra from 15th August. In fact, recently, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had announced that Mumbai local train services would be available for fully vaccinated against Covid-19 from last Sunday. Following his decision, Mumbai local has been resumed from yesterday.

During this period, those who have received both doses of vaccine have been allowed to enter shopping malls in Mumbai and other cities of Maharashtra. Recently, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that it is necessary to check the Covid-19 vaccination certificates before allowing people to enter the mall. He also said, "There should be guards in the mall. It is the responsibility of the owner of the mall. The guard needs to check the visitors' certificates.”
