A local court in Mumbai has issued summons for Kangana Ranaut. This stuff has been released on the basis of police report in the case of defamation of lyricist Javed Akhtar. Before this, the police had told the court that the matter is defamation, the lyricist has made this charge. Further investigation is needed in this case. Lyricist Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation complaint against Kangana in Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court in the month of November last year.
On this, the court in December 2020 directed the Juhu police station to investigate. The next hearing of this case is said to be on March 1. Javed Akhtar's lawyer Jai Kumar Bhardwaj told magistrate RR Khan on Monday, "The police had summoned Kangana to present and record the statement last month, but the actress did not respond." Talking about Javed Akhtar's complaint, he has alleged in his complaint that, 'Kangana, during an interview, while referring to the alleged factionalism in Bollywood in the context of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, dragged his name in it and made abusive comment. '
Not only this, he has called Kangana's remarks in his complaint baseless and he said that his image has been damaged due to Kangana. On the complaint of Javed Akhtar, Kangana has recently said that 'people like us compromise their self-respect and choose to remain on this ridiculous, tyrannical and your partisan communist platform Twitter because they don't tell you.
