A local court in Mumbai has issued summons for Kangana Ranaut. This stuff has been released on the basis of police report in the case of defamation of lyricist Javed Akhtar. Lyricist Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation complaint against Kangana in Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court in the month of November last year.

Javed Akhtar's lawyer Jai Kumar Bhardwaj told magistrate RR Khan on Monday, "The police had summoned Kangana to present and record the statement last month, but the actress did not respond."
