Mumbai: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh's troubles are now on the rise. In fact, he is accused of recovering Rs.10 crores. He was recently accused by cricket bookie Sonu Jalan. In fact, he has made this revelation in the interrogation of the CID. In the interrogation, Sonu said, "The former commissioner had told him that if he wanted to protect himself from being arrested in a major case, he would have to pay Rs 10 crore to former police inspector Pradeep Sharma".

Maharashtra CID is investigating the recovery allegations of Sonu Jalan against Parambir Singh, Pradeep Sharma and other police officials. Let me tell all of you that Sonu Jalan had said before the CID that he was arrested in May 2018 in a case of stetebaji, after which he was produced before the then Commissioner Parambir Singh. Not only that, Sonu Jalan has also claimed that "Parambir Singh had asked me for information about cricket bookies. He also threatened to arrest me and my family in a major betting case. Parambir Singh had asked me to give Rs 10 crore to Pradeep Sharma to save me from arrest".

Well, if you remember, Mayuresh Raut, a builder from Birar, had earlier lodged a complaint of extortion and corruption against former commissioner Parambir Singh, former inspector Pradeep Sharma and Rajkumar Kothmyer. Now bookie Sonu Jalan has also accused him of recovery.
