Mumbai: The Mumbai crime team has recently revealed a gang printing fake notes. It is the gang that was working to print large-scale notes by planting a note factory. The head of the gang was reported to have printed the notes during the day time and supplied the notes during the night time. He did so that the notes could easily come into circulation. In this case, the Mumbai Crime Branch Unit 7 team has disclosed that they had received secret information. The information said, "Such a gang is active in Mumbai and adjoining areas. In this case, the Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested four persons who used to print fake notes from home and pay 200 hundred rupees in lieu of 100 in Mumbai and adjoining markets."

Talking about the case, DCP Akbar Pathan of the Mumbai Crime Branch said, "The Crime Branch Unit 7 team was informed that some people are going to supply fake notes in the city on 26th January. After getting the information, the Crime Branch team arrested the first two accused and recovered fake notes of 2 lakh 80 thousand rupees from them". According to reports, the crime branch has arrested a total of 4 accused, named Abdullah Kallu Khan, Mahendra Khandkar, Farooq Chaudhary and Amin Sheikh.

The gang's kingpin is said to be Mahendra Khandakar. So far, police have recovered a fake note of 32 lakh 54 thousand rupees from Mahendra Khandakar's house in the case. It is said that the police is now examining how many more people were involved in the gang.
