Theft is common in today's time. By the way, you all must have heard that the gold stolen from the houses is rarely returned, but a shocking case has come to light from Mumbai. In fact, a family here has got back the gold stolen 22 years ago. At that time, it was worth around Rs 13.45 lakh, however, now the police have returned gold worth about Rs 1.5 crore to the owner of the famous fashion brand Chirag Din. Now we'll tell you the whole thing! In fact, according to the information received in this whole case, the house of Arjun Daswani, who lives in Colaba, was stolen in the year 1998.

In fact, the miscreants entered the house and took him and his wife hostage and stole gold ornaments and old gold coins. At the same time, in this whole case, the police had arrested four accused, while two accused had escaped. During the hearing of the case, the court had ordered that the stolen goods will not be handed over to the owners until the remaining two accused are caught. At the same time, Arjun Daswani died in the year 2007 and after that, the family had almost forgotten the gold theft case. However, last year, the court allowed the Mumbai Police to hand over the stolen gold to its owners.

Talking about the entire case, Mumbai Police ACP Pandurang Shinde said that the gold was with the police since 2002. Last year, the police commissioner had asked us to launch a drive that the stolen gold that was recovered should be returned to their owners. We had filed an application in the court with the help of the owner of the gold in this regard, after which the court granted permission and the gold was returned to their owner. At the same time, the Daswani family is now happy to get the gold back. This is because along with the price of gold being in crores, they have also got back the heritage of their ancestors.
