Mumbai: While the demand for making strict laws for women continues to rise in the country, incidents of crime with women from different corners of country continue to emerge. A woman was died after her boyfriend slapped her. This case is related to Mankhurd police station in Mumbai. According to the police, the 35-year-old deceased's name is Sita Pradhan. Her lover Raju Pujari Yalappa saw her talking with someone else.
That is why he angrily raised his hand on girlfriend Sita. According to the information given by the police officer, "As soon as the slap occurred, she immediately fell to the ground. People around her rushed her to the hospital in the car. By the time she was taken to Rajwadi Hospital in Ghatkopar, the woman was killed." Senior Inspector Nitin Bobde, posted at Mankhurd police station, has said that an accidental death report (ADR) has been filed in the case.
The police then took Raju into custody. Now the woman's postmortem report is awaited. Police have said that further action will be taken based on the post mortem report. Police is currently questioning Raju.
