Mumbai: Heavy rain has started in many parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai for the last two days. Mumbai has received heavy rain throughout the day and overnight last (Friday) and now it is expected to rain heavily in Mumbai for the next 24 hours. In fact, it has been cloudy in Mumbai since this morning. According to the MET department, heavy rain is expected in the coming hours.

The most important three to four hours are mentioned. Let me tell you all that apart from Mumbai, heavy rains have also been predicted in many parts of Maharashtra. An orange alert has been sounded for Nashik and Palghar including Vidarbha. Similarly, heavy rain has also been predicted in Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra. Let me tell you all that most parts of the state are likely to get rain.

After a break of the last few days, Mumbai has once again started raining heavily in the last two days. So far, Borivali, Goregaon, Malad, Dadar, Sion, Kurla, and Mumbai central have received heavy rainfall. All these places received heavy rain from 4 am to 7 am and this led to waterlogging. The rain is said to be still continuing. Now, if you look at this, based on the morning record, it had rained up to 70mm in Dombivali, 63mm in Kalyan, 81mm in Kasarwadawali, 101mm in Badlapur.
