Thursday; June 9, 2016 : Merchant Ship MV Infinity One, which had accounted water access, continues to list and is on way to Karwar. As per the defence spokesperson said," De-watering by pumps from INS Trikand and CGS Amal are continuing operation to keep the vessel safe. Presently, MV Infinity One continues to list and is proceeding to Karwar (with INS Trikhand escorting it) at slow speed. The vessel is expected to enter harbour later in the day,".

Navy and Coast Guard ships were hurried after getting a grief call from MV Infinity One when it was 20 nautical miles off Goa coast.

The merchant ship, marine from Kandla port in Gujarat to Karwar in Karnataka with 14 Indian crew on board, had reported water ingress and continuous listing to starboard side.

A team of four member was sent from INS Trikand.
