Massive fire breaks out Mumbai's MTNL building, life of more than 100 people in danger

Mumbai: A fire broke out in a multistory building in the Bandra area of Mumbai, the country's economic capital, on Monday. The aim is reported to be MTNL, in which more than 100 people are reported to be trapped. The fire broke out at a 9-storey building in Bandra.

The fire is said to have started on the third-fourth floor of the building. The cause of the fire is not confirmed yet. The fire department rushed to the spot and tried to put out the fire. 14 fire tenders are on the spot. More than 100 people are reported to be trapped in the building. However, no casualty has been reported so far.

Earlier, a fire broke out in the Churchill Chamber building near the Taj Mahal and the Diplomat Hotel in Mumbai. The fire brigade personnel rescued 14 people. One person was killed in the incident. Two persons were seriously injured and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital by fire department staff.
