Today, in early morning National Investigative Agency (NIA) and Mumbai Police raided at Zakir Naik's Islamic Research Foundation's office premises. On Friday, they filed a FIR against him for promoting hatred among religious communities through his speech.
The police has registered him under section 10,13,18 of UAPA and section 153A of IPC. Earlier, Home Ministry banned IRF for having association with terrorists.
All this news came into light when a terrorist from Dhaka posted on social media that he is inspired by Zakir's speeches.
