Mumbai: After the death of a 30-year-old woman who was a victim of a case like 'Nirbhaya' in Mumbai, the statement of Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale has angered people across the country. The Mumbai Police Commissioner said in a press conference on Saturday (September 11) that the police had reached the spot within 10 minutes of receiving the call in the control room. He further said that 'The police may not be everywhere at the time of the incident, but as soon as the information was received, the police officers immediately took the woman to the hospital.'

According to reports, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) team led by ACP Jyotsna Rasam will investigate the rape and murder of the victim. At the same time, CM Uddhav Thackeray has ordered that the matter will be heard in the fast track court. He said that the incident of Sakinaka was an embarrassment to humanity. The 45-year-old accused Mohan Chauhan, who carried out the incident, was arrested by the police a few hours after the incident. The accused was produced in the court on September 11, where the court has sent him to police custody till September 21. It was revealed in the CCTV footage that the incident was carried out in Sakinaka, Mumbai between 2.30 pm and 3 pm.

Let us inform that the woman, who was victimized by the cruelty of the man on Khairani Road in the Sakinaka area of ​​Mumbai, died three days later on Saturday (September 11) while undergoing treatment at the Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar. On September 9, a 30-year-old woman was found unconscious after being raped on Khairani Road. After raping, the man beat the victim with a rod and then put the rod in her private part. The police reached the spot and took the victim, who was covered in blood, to the hospital.
