Mumbai: A major accident took place on Sunday night in the Shivaji Nagar area of Mayanagari, in which several people were injured. In fact, a Ground Plus One house collapsed in Shivaji Nagar last night, injuring about 5 people. After the incident, all the injured were shifted to nearby Rajawadi Hospital for treatment with the help of locals and police.

Painful accident on Yamuna Expressway again, 29 killed, several injured

According to the information received, the incident took place around 2 p.m. on Sunday night. Rescue teams rushed to the spot after receiving information about the house collapse. The family informed that the accident took place at around 2 p.m. on Sunday when they were asleep. There were 22 people sleeping in the house when the accident happened. As soon as the walls of the house collapsed, 2 people were buried under the rubble and the others suffered minor injuries.

While some people survived the accident, they have not suffered any injuries, but 5 family members have suffered serious injuries. Two people trapped under the debris have been evacuated with the help of locals and fire brigade and have been rushed to hospital. While the cause of the house collapse is yet to be ascertained, it is believed that the incident may have occurred due to continuous rain in Mumbai for the past 10 days.
