Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the annual Dussehra festival last Friday. In his address, he launched a scathing attack on BJP, Sangh and Modi. First of all, CM Uddhav Thackeray said, "Hindutva is under threat not from outsiders but from neo-Hindutva.'' At the same time, there are those who used the ideology of Hindutva to gain power. Further, they will adopt the policy of divide and rule. He also said, 'I am not a fakir who will pick up the bag and walk away. He said this in a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.'

He further said in a taunting manner, "Earlier I could not sleep, I used to get bumps at the door and then I used to stand up, then I went to BJP, now I sleep like Kumbhakaran.'' Copying a TV aid at the Dussehra rally, the Shiv Sena chief said, "Former Congress leader Harsh Vardhan Patil had said something like this after joining BJP.'' In his speech, CM Thackeray asked, "Why does the BJP, which describes itself as the world's largest party, bring leaders from other parties?''

Meanwhile, CM Thackeray also alleged misuse of central investigating agencies. He challenged, 'If you have to compete, do it directly. Don't use institutions like ED, CBI.' He further said, 'We will not carry your palanquin, we are not born for him. Now that we are not taking it, are you calling us corrupt? You are targeting families, children. It is not manhood, it is inhuman.'
