NEW DELHI: On June 3, the Mumbai-Goad Vande Bharat express train is expected to debut. The first run is reportedly  scheduled on June 3 and regular passenger services will begin on June 4. When compared to the Tejas Express on this route, the Vande Bharat express will cut the distance between the two cities' travel times by at least 45 minutes. This will be Mumbai's 4th Vande Bharat express train.

The stopages and timings of the trains will be updated by the Indian Railway once the official announcement is made.  On May 16, officials performed a trial run of the semi-high-speed Vande Bhagat Express train between Mumbai and Goa.

It is  said, although the final decision about the make-up of the rake has not yet been communicated, the Railway Board is likely to operate the train with either 8 or 16 coaches.
Three Vande Bharat Express trains currently leave from Mumbai, the nation's financial hub, going to Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar Capital, Sainagar Shirdi, and Solapur.

Indian Railways has an electric multiple-unit train called the Vande Bharat Express. Trains operated by Vande Bharat are capable of travelling at a top speed of 180 km/h. These cutting-edge trains have bio-vacuum restrooms, automatic doors, wi-fi, and regenerative braking systems in addition to GPS-based passenger information systems.

On May 29, Prime Minister Modi used video conferencing to signal the departure of the inaugural Vande Bharat Express train for Assam. The new service will drastically shorten the current shortest journey time by the fastest train, covering the 411 kilometres between Guwahati and New Jalpaiguri in 5 hours and 30 minutes.
