Chandigarh: A case of murder has come to light over illicit links with Sirsa in Haryana. Where the 28-year-old woman was first kidnapped, then murdered and the body dumped in an empty plot. The man who committed the crime himself called the husband of the deceased woman and informed him about it. Hearing this, the ground slipped under his feet. On receiving the information, dial 112 police reached the spot and took the body into custody and took it to the hospital for postmortem. The family members of the deceased woman created a ruckus at the civil hospital and demanded strict action against the accused.
In this case, the husband of the deceased woman, Johnny, alleged that Pankaj, who runs a shop near his house, had murdered his wife. Johnny told the police that Pankaj called after the murder and said that his wife's body was lying in the plot, after which he reached the spot and found his wife's body. Johnny, in his complaint to the police, said that his wife Poonam had been missing since Sunday evening. The matter of the alleged illicit relationship between the deceased woman and the accused has come to the fore.
Police said the accused, Pankaj, had taken the woman with him on Sunday night and strangulated her to death. The deceased was the mother of three children. After getting information about the murder of the woman, the people gathered at the spot. DSP Aryan Chaudhary said that the body of 28-year-old Poonam has been found in JJ Colony. Based on the complaint of the deceased woman's husband Joni, a case of murder has been registered against the accused Pankaj. The search operation for the accused has also started and will be arrested soon.
