Patna: In a shocking incident, a woman was stabbed to death in a moving train and the husband has been shot. The injured husband is undergoing treatment at PMCH. His condition is stable. The killing of a woman in the AC coach of the moving train has raised many questions. In this case, the police are saying nothing. On the other hand, the husband's statement is also being doubted.

According to the sources, Uttam Kumar along with his wife Kanchan Devi was traveling in AC Bogie on the Seemanchal Express from Katihar to Delhi. The two had to go to Meerut, but in the midway, Kanchan Devi was stabbed to death. According to Uttam Kumar, he has also been shot by a gun. People did not come to his aid and the police also arrive three hours after the incident when they are informed. The incident took place around 2 p.m. on Saturday from Begusarai to Barauni.

On Sunday morning, when the Seemanchal Express arrives at Pataliputra Junction at 4.20 a.m., police recover the body of Kanchan Devi. According to Uttam Kumar, who is undergoing treatment at PMCH, when his wife Kanchan did not return from the restroom, he went to the restroom looking for her. Where the crooks opened fire on him and fled from the moving train. Asked if he saw his wife, he replied that he only knew his wife was being post-mortemed.
