Indore: A case of conspiracy to incite communal violence by raising provocative slogans has come to light in Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that these provocative slogans have been raised by the 'Sir Tan Se Juda' gang. In a video that has gone viral, a mob of Muslims is seen burning down Indore and using the word 'pig' for people belonging to some communities. In the video, the time after Friday prayers is being openly used for violence. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) national spokesperson has demanded strict action against the accused seen in the video.

On Saturday (January 29), VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal shared a 2-minute 2-second video on Twitter. In this video, a man in a Muslim mob is openly threatening to burn Indore. At the same time, the second person is fixing the time of Friday prayers for this. No one in the crowd in front of him, who was making the video, tried to stop or convince him, instead supported his statement by raising provocative slogans. During this time people of other religions were also described as 'pigs' and themselves as lions.

VHP leader Vinod Bansal has tagged Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra and demanded action under the National Security Act (NSA) against those making provocative statements. Many other users on his post are also demanding action against the people seen in the video. According to reports, the police have taken cognizance of this video and registered a case. An FIR has been registered under sections 505, 295, and 34 of the IPC. After the case was registered, both the accused fled, in which the location of one is said to be Ajmer, and the location of the other is said to be found in Ratlam. The police are looking for both of them.

On January 25, 2023, members of the Hindu organization were protesting against Shah Rukh Khan's film Pathaan in front of Kasturi Cinema in Indore. During this, it is alleged that someone raised controversial slogans against the Prophet of Muslims. A video of this sloganeering also went viral on social media. On the basis of the video, Mufti Syed Sabir Ali lodged an FIR at Chhatripura police station accusing a person named Tannu Sharma as the main accused. The police registered a case and arrested 7 accused associated with the Hindu organization and sent them to jail.

People of the Muslim community have protested in many parts of Madhya Pradesh against this sloganeering. The police are also identifying and arresting those involved in this violence. The viral video of Indore is also believed to be a part of this violent protest.
