Khargone: In the Talab Chowk area of ​​Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, stones were pelted in Imalipura area on Sunday during the procession being taken out during Ram Navami festival. During this, several houses and vehicles on Talab Chowk, Bhavsar Mohalla and Goshala Marg were torched along with some shops in the bullion area. Not only this, but during this rioters threw petrol bombs fiercely and 20 people including TI Banwari Mandloi, a policeman were injured due to stone pelting. Due to this, Superintendent of Police Siddharth Chaudhary reached to bring the situation under control but he was also attacked by miscreants.

The miscreants set fire to more than 30 shops and houses. The matter calmed down a bit at around 9 pm, but the violence flared up again at 12 pm. Houses were set ablaze in Anand Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Motipura. Some houses were also looted. Due to this, more than 70 families had to leave their homes and move to other places. In this incident, 10 policemen and more than 20 people were injured. SP Siddharth Chaudhary has been shot in the left leg. At the same time, the police have arrested 70 Muslims till Monday morning. Police-administration has also issued helpline numbers. Here, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called the incident unfortunate.

The Chief Minister said – will not spare any rioter. Strict action will be taken against them. The rioters have been marked. He will also recover damages to public or private property from those who pelted stones, caused damage to property. On this matter, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that only the houses from where stones have been pelted will be made a pile of stones. Now there is peace in Khargone. There is enough police force there. BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya and in-charge minister Kamal Patel tweeted and talked about strict action against the criminals.
