Mumbai: Saad Ashfaq Ansari, who supported suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma in the alleged remarks on Islam's Prophet Mohammed, is in panic and shock after being released from jail. In fact, radical Muslims had lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police against him for supporting Nupur Sharma. Saad was then arrested. Saad came out of jail on bail on June 27, but now his world has changed.

Saad Ansari's family members have said that it will take time for them to recover from the trauma they have had to go through in the last few weeks. A close family member says, "We have faith in the law and the police, but those who slap and abuse Saad also need to be punished for the crime committed by him." Saad Ansari's first bail plea in the case was rejected on June 20. However, his bail was granted on June 27. According to a media report, Saad Ansari's lawyer Narayan Iyer said the college student was only expressing his views and he was not indulging in any kind of violence or hurting any religious sentiments.

At the same time, a video of former Congress councillor Baba Bauddin is also going viral on social media. Bauddin is alleged to have instigated Muslims to gather outside Saad's house. However, Congress leader Bauddin denies the allegations. Bauddin says, "I am a Muslim first, then a people's representative. I had reached Saad's house to sort out the matter. Then we went to the police station to lodge an FIR. A case was also filed against me. The police questioned me for two days. I would only say that one cannot play with religion and people's feelings.''

In fact, after the Nupur Sharma controversy, 19-year-old engineering student Saad Ashfaq Ansari raised some questions related to the prophet Mohammad while supporting Nupur Sharma on Instagram. Along with this, he also called Nupur Sharma a brave woman. Saad wrote on his Instagram account, "If a 50-year-old man marries a 6-9-year-old girl, it's clearly child abuse. I don't know how people are supporting this. Would you give your 6-year-old daughter to a 50-year-old man.''

In another Insta story, the Muslim student wrote, "I do not support any religion. I hate the most. I'm only afraid to live in a world where you and your family are killed because you said something for a man who died years ago.'' The engineering student had appealed, 'Grow up, man. Leave aside the religion that spreads terror in the world. Be human. It's quite easy. I know how much hate I will have to face after posting all this. I'm ready to be misunderstood because you're still children.'

After Saad's posts, a mob of Muslim fundamentalists reached his house on the night of June 11 and asked him to get out. The boy somehow tried to convince the crowd. He said nervously, 'I could have stayed inside if I wanted to, but I'm out there to talk to you.' After this, a man from the crowd said, "If you had stayed inside, we would drag you out and kill you." The boy tried very hard to convince the crowd with folded hands, but the crowd did not agree. In the end, he was forcibly taught Kalma and Shahada (Islamic Dua). When the boy started reading it, one man slapped him in the face and the other kept threatening him.

After this, on June 12, once again a crowd of fanatics reached Saad's house and demonstrated. Later, a complaint was lodged against Saad at Nizampur police station in Bhiwandi. The radical mob alleged that Saad said objectionable things about the Prophet. The mob said they should not apologise, they should be arrested. One of the protesters even said that if such an incident happened again, the law will take its own course and they will do their job.
