Tehran: In Iran, 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was killed after her hair fell out of her hijab, leading to her murder, there is a lot of anger among women there about the hijab. Several videos have surfaced on social media in which Iranian women are setting their hijab on fire with open hair and some are protesting against the incident by cutting their hair. All these videos have been collected and posted by Iranian  journalist Masih Alinejad on his Twitter. Alinejad says that if girls in Iran do not cover their hair from the age of 7, they are not allowed to go to school and they do not get any job. Women in Iran have been troubled by this system of gender discrimination. It is clearly seen in the video that women are cutting their entire braid with scissors. At the same time, some women are seen burning their hijab by opening their hair on the open road. Many people on social media are supporting these women. The protest had escalated to such an extent that the police even opened fire and released tear gas to stop them. Many people were very injured in all this. Even after this, the women did not stop their performance. She came out on the road in a crowd and registered her protest saying 'don't be afraid, we are all together'.
