Lucknow: Muslim women of Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath, have given the message of connecting each other culturally with the gulal of love. Muslim women of Varanasi greeted Holi by blowing gulal of love at Subhash Bhawan Lamhi. On the occasion of Holi, a program “Holi of Muslim women” was organized at Subhash Bhawan of Inre Yash Nagar, Lamhi under the joint aegis of Muslim Mahila Foundation and Vishal Bharat Sansthan.

The gulals flying in the atmosphere amidst the beats of dholak and the songs of Holi presented a glimpse of the shared culture of India. Muslim women were undoubtedly in niqab, but they painted each other for social harmony. These women hugged each other and gave the message of eradicating the distinction of religion and caste and binding them in the bond of relationship.

Muslim women smeared gulal on each other's faces, laughed, rose petals spread the fragrance of love and gave a message of unity to the world. When the Holi song started on the beat of the dhol, Muslim women included Lord Shri Ram, Lord Shri Krishna along with Kashi Vishwanath in their songs.
