In fact, he had said that, 'He does not believe in any particular religion, but he supported Nupur Sharma's statement.' After his act, an angry Muslim mob allegedly surrounded his house and he was also allegedly beaten up. While demanding his arrest, he was forcibly apologized.

In this case, it is alleged that he was also asked to read Kalma, however, in view of the situation, the police had taken him into custody. In this case, Bhiwandi Deputy Commissioner Yogesh Chavan told that, 'Police has arrested the youth. A case has also been registered under relevant sections.
