'Muslims should be prevented from entering Gyanvapi...', case reaches fast track court

Varanasi: The matter of blocking the entry of Muslims into the disputed Gyanvapi mosque will now be heard in a fast track court. Three demands were made in the petition. It sought permission to hand over the Gyanvapi complex to Hindus, ban the entry of another community there and recite the worship of Adi Visheshwar. The fast track court has fixed May 30 as the date of hearing.  

Kiran Singh, wife of Jitendra Singh Bisen, uncle of Gyanvapi case litigant Rakhi Singh, had filed an application in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Ravi Kumar Diwakar on Tuesday seeking a stay on the entry of Muslims. The court had recorded it as a form of miscellaneousism. Kiran Singh is the international general secretary of the World Vedic Sanatan Sangh. Her husband Jitendra Bisen is the head of the association. Adivishwar's litigant Kiran Singh and plaintiffs Vikas Sah and Vidyachand had moved the court on three points on Tuesday in paragraph 77, 122.  

The petition, filed on behalf of advocates like Shivam Gaur, Man bahadur Singh and others, had sought that the Muslim side be restricted from entering the Gyanvapi mosque complex, ordering that the Gyanvapi complex be handed over to Hindus for worship. At the same time, daily worship of Lord Adi Visvesvara should be started with immediate effect. He also argued for the report of the court commission proceedings.
