Muzaffarnagar: A shocking case has come to light in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. While there are patients treated inside a health centre, the staff went on lockdown at the time of leave. According to reports, a health centre officer went home after locking the centre when his duty was over, while a female patient was admitted in a state of unconsciousness within the hospital.

Acting on the matter, a Class IV employee has been suspended and four other officers including medical officer and chief pharmacist have been replaced. According to the information received, a 30-year-old woman named Sonia was admitted to a health centre in Falavada village under Muzaffarnagar district.

When the patient was lying unconscious on a bed in the room, other employees, including a doctor, went home by locking the centre when the duty was over in the afternoon. A few hours later, when the woman regained consciousness, she found himself locked inside the centre. She then started screaming for help. Hearing the noise, the locals called the police. Police rushed to the spot and pulled the woman out and slammed the officers.
