The ‘Big Billion Day Sale’ has bring in many hopes and aspiration for Flipkart and its branch Fashion website Myntra. 

"This is the second year that we will be part of BBD. We expect 5x sales during BBD, scheduled to be held on October 2-6. With brands offering discounts of up to 70 per cent, we will have 2.5 lakh styles and designs for shoppers," Myntra CEO Ananth Narayanan told PTI.

A wide range of category and brands in a low sale rate are definitely going to bring new customers around the store, the sale is expected to grow Five-Folds.

Jabong, another fashion brand, will not be a major competition as Myntra had bought Jabong in July earlier this year.
